This picturesque town with stunning waterfront views has a variety of activities to enjoy on a date night, but really, I recommend you start early to take in all the beauty and fun this town offers! For those of us who are lucky enough to live in or near Tiburon, do you find yourself kicking yourself for not taking better advantage of our town? I know I do! So without further adieu, here are some ideas for what to do on a date night in Tiburon:
- Swing on the Hippy Tree: Start the date with both exploration and elevation. If you're driving into town from Corte Madera/Larkspur, simply cross the freeway overpass and you're halfway there. For quick directions, visit HERE.

Picnic at Blackie's Pasture: First, stop at my favorite local market, Nuggets, for fabulous deli foods, packaged snacks, and choose from their extensive wine collection. It's just a short drive to Blackie's Pasture, a waterfront park with walking paths and scenic spots where you'll want to linger.
- Stroll Along Main Street: Walk off your meal strolling Tiburon's Main Street, lined with charming shops, art galleries, and cafes. Take a leisurely stroll with your partner, browse the unique boutiques, and perhaps enjoy an ice cream at the town's own candy store just next to the ferry port, which has a vintage vibe to it. Take a Sunset Cruise: Consider taking a sunset cruise on the bay. Many companies offer boat tours that provide breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the city skyline as the sun sets. Here is a place to get started!

Tiburon Uplands Nature Preserve: This is another great spot for a hike. The nature preserve features trails through lush landscapes and offers panoramic views of the bay and the nearby mountains.

Stargazing: If you're up for a late-night activity, bring a blanket and find a cozy spot to stargaze. Away from the city lights, Tiburon can offer some impressive views of the night sky.
